Devin Shatsky and Brian Gomez took questions during a panel at E3, talking about Downpour and the series in general.

Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, who did most of the vocals for the Silent Hill series’ music over the years, will be directing the re-recorded voice overs as well as doing some of them.

Murphy has PTSD related to things that have happened in his past, including whatever caused him to end up in prison. It appears that water is related.

Murphy will be affected by how scared he is. It doesn’t seem clear exactly in what way, but I hope it’s not like Clock Tower 3.

Downpour will be more story-driven. The enemies are based on a “design bible” detailing how the monsters relate to Murphy.
