Early SH1 footage from Konami E3 Media CD was posted on youtube by BuyAtari. There is a sign there in Japanese that is not in the final version. Appears to have some running around the first part of Old Silent Hill at night, and it’s only in the daytime in the final game.

Well actually if you wanna get technical when you open the door with the eclipse keys then when it goes dark you can go back through the door and be back in the first part and it still be night
