The NTSC “regular” demo version. This page slightly unfinished. For more demos and comparisons, go to this page. I’m still working on getting more comparisons and information.
CD cover.
This version added the bit about a “mature audience.”
Earlier versions looked like this.
This is what you saw in the beginning of later demo versions, rather than “The fear of blood…”
Earlier version of warning screen.
Textures still present from older versions of game, map billboard in Japanese and Stanley and Pullman St. signs.
From E3 Media disc
Earlier versions had “salt water.”
No list of teachers.
Final version.
Nothing special. You weren’t able to examine this book.
Something special, I guess. ^_^ This memo wasn’t in the demos, because you didn’t need to go to the basement at all in them, and you didn’t fight the lizard.
Basement stairs blocked off.
This is the screen that showed when you finished the “Scene 1″ level. The level ends when you try to leave the cafe.
After you finish the school level, you see this screen. You end the level by trying to use the lobby key on the lobby door to get out of the school
IIRC, all demos had green blood for ratings purposes.
Compare with the other white-text version for earlier poem, and the green is the final version
The squeaky ghosts were in the 2nd floor hall of this one. The PSM16 demo had roaches there, instead.
