I agree, it’s really cute. It’s also really fascinating to compare your memories of PS2 events with the way it’s done here.
The big disadvantage of this game (aside from not being finished) is the combat system. Okay, SH has a history of loosy combat sysems, and it’s not meant to be a combat focused game. Which is good. BUT: Why the hell does James ‘loose’ his weapon every time he gets hit? (You always have to enter combat mode again.)
And why are your movements limited to going back and forth in combat mode? (Even when you have four directions in non-combat mode.)
I ended up not even entrering combat mode anymore, as the non-combat mode makes it much much easier to dodge and just run.
